Color Definitions

Achromatic Color System:
 No color quality is found...blacks, grays, and whites

Monochromatic color system:
 Having only one hue...shades of blue found in clothing

Analogous Color System:
 Colors closely related in hue

Complementary Color System:
Colors directly opposite on the color wheel (yellow and violet)

Split-Complementary Color System:
A color and the two colors on either side of its compliment

SHAPE PHOTO BLOGGING

GEOMETRIC SHAPE:
Squares are clearly defined at the edge of this bench at the dog park.

BIOMORPHIC SHAPE:
This is sand outside of a lake at the local dog park. The uniform and rhythmic texture created by all of the paw prints looks like something organic like rough skin or a shell. 

POSITIVE SPACE:
Although the focal point of this image is skewed to the left and on the edge, the couple in the shadow represents the positive space.  Which is also ironic because usually shadows compose part of the negative space.

NEGATIVE SPACE:
All of the space around the hose is the negative space.

NON OBJECTIVE SHAPE:
The clouds in this image represent non-objective shape.
